Meet Nicolette!
As a sports multimedia journalism and digital media geek, Nicolette is the person who is always the first to arrive in the station, newsroom or classroom and the last to leave. The Southern California native is no stranger to sports, being raised just outside of Los Angeles her entire life. She is currently a graduate student at the University of San Francisco, studying sport management.
She was recruited to play basketball for the University of La Verne, until a car accident ended her career. However, she bounced back and focused on her journalism craft, while later shifting to a multimedia and "numbers" geek.
She served as a social media editor and an editorial board member for the Campus Times in 2019, a reporter and producer for La Verne Community Television and San Dimas Television during Spring 2019 and an on-air personality for two years at the school's radio station, 107.9 LeoFM.
Nicolette also put the final piece of her puzzle by working in public relations for nonprofit organizations, Arroyo Seco Saints Baseball and Kids Sports News Network.
When she is not in an office, newsroom (or working at home), you can catch her watching and playing sports such as basketball, football and baseball, attending concerts, traveling the world and popping by a theater for a movie.
